Directorate: Secondary Schools

Hours: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 8:00‑4:00, Tuesday 8:00‑5:30, Friday 8:00‑2:30. Flexibility is possible except for Tuesday finish time.

Position type: Permanent, term‑time only plus 10 days.

Grade: Band G (NJC 20‑24)

Salary: Full‑time £32,597‑£35,412. Actual £28,881‑£31,375 pending award.

Location: Honley High School, Station Rd, Holmfirth HD9 6QJ

Closing Date: Monday 6 July 2026, 12:00 PM

Interview: Week commencing Monday 13 July 2026.

Start Date: 1 September 2026.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update the school MIS (Arbor) and other supporting systems for timetabling, assessment, student data and external reporting.
  • Support the effective use of data by building reports, spreadsheets and analysis processes.
  • Produce accurate data and reports to inform decision‑making and support high‑quality teaching and learning.
  • Analyse information, produce reports and communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to enhance data‑driven practices across the school.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills with a strong eye for detail.
  • Experience working with data and producing reports.
  • Experience within a school environment and knowledge of school information systems is advantageous.
  • Analytical mindset and proactive approach to problem‑solving.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with staff, students and external partners.
