Holmfirth J I & N School, otherwise known as “Nabb” is looking for a highly effective teaching assistant to join its committed team. This full‑time, permanent post is for an experienced ETA to work throughout the school (KS1/KS2/EYFS) during term time only, five days per week.

We are a medium‑sized primary school (200+ children) catering for children between 3 and 11 years old. Nabb School’s welcoming and caring ethos offers high‑quality teaching, which is reflected by daily engagement and longer‑term outcomes. It has a happy, secure and stimulating learning environment.

As a staff team, we are not afraid to do things differently and work very hard to create the kind of school we all believe in. We base our curriculum, and indeed our outlook, upon four key components (Collaboration, Communication, Creativity and Curiosity). We refer to these as 4C4Life, which we aim to show as the backbone of our school, in classrooms, on the website and throughout all of our life journeys.

If you like being actively involved with a supportive and collaborative team, if you enjoy working in a beautiful setting with plentiful provision for outdoor learning, and if you are passionate about educating and enriching children, this may be the opportunity for you.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All staff are subject to an enhanced DBS check. A conviction may not exclude candidates from appointment but will be considered as part of the recruitment process.
