To commence September 2026. At Roberttown we are seeking to appoint a dedicated, experienced and qualified Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our hard working, welcoming and supportive team. Our HLTAs are an integral part of our school and complement the professional work of teachers by delivering learning activities under an agreed system of supervision.

The successful applicant will be:

  • A qualified and experienced HLTA with a passion for developing children’s learning.
  • A dedicated individual with high expectations and an understanding of raising achievement.
  • A person who has the ability and expertise to cover PPA and release time for teachers as necessary, including short term absence cover.
  • A person with a flexible attitude who is willing and able to adapt to last minute changes and work across all year groups.
  • A person who will promote the inclusion and acceptance of all pupils.
  • A hard worker with strong communication skills and an effective team player.
  • Highly passionate in their work with good organisational skills and consistently models the values of our school.
