We are now seeking aHead of Asset Management & Building Safety to lead this transformation.

About the Role

As our Head of Service, you’ll provide strategic leadership across asset management, building safety, and capital investment. You’ll ensure our homes meetDecent Homes Standards, comply withbuilding safety legislation, and support ourNet Zero ambitions.

This is a high impact role where you’ll work with elected members, tenants, contractors, and internal teams to deliver safe, warm, and sustainable homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and delivery of our 30-year Asset Management Strategy
  • Oversee capital investment programmes and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement across housing services
  • Champion tenant engagement and resident-led service delivery
  • Manage large budgets and capital investment programmes
  • Provide expert advice to senior leaders and elected members
  • Lead multi-disciplinary teams and foster a culture of excellence

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven leadership in asset management and strategy
  • Deep understanding of housing legislation and compliance
  • Experience in contract and project management
  • Strategic thinker with strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience of leading and developing multi skilled teams
  • Professional qualification (e.g. RICS, CIOB) or equivalent experience
  • Passion for delivering high quality, sustainable housing
