Role Summary
An inspiring male Team Leader of PE to join our school. Due to the specific duties of the role, which include the supervision and safe management of boys’ changing rooms, this post requires a male member of staff. This is an occupational requirement in accordance with the Equality Act 2010 to ensure appropriate safeguarding and health & safety standards for our pupils. You will be supported to build on the current excellent practice both as a leader and a highly effective teacher of PE. Westborough has a strong team leader development programme and opportunities to network with other PE departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Physical Education department, ensuring high quality teaching and learning.
- Supervise and manage the boys’ changing rooms and ensure safe environments.
- Develop and deliver effective teaching resources and strategies.
- Inspire, lead and motivate teachers and students.
