Following a recent internal promotion, we are looking to appoint a highly organised, proactive receptionist, able to multi-task effectively and someone skilled at managing a busy front desk with professionalism and care. You will be joining the school’s business support/admin team and working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. As the first point of contact for pupils, parents, visitors and staff, you will ensure that every interaction reflects our school’s commitment to excellence, and provide a welcoming, safe and secure environment as well as assisting with general admin support to a wide range of staff.
In this key role you will need to use your multi-tasking and prioritisation skills to carry out a demanding workload whilst ensuring the reception area is well presented and welcoming at all times.
Essential Qualities For All Applicants Include Amongst Other Things:
- A professional yet welcoming and friendly persona
- Exceptional communication skills being able to communicate effectively with children/young people, parents, visitors and school staff.
- Able to deliver a high standard of customer service.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Have excellent IT skills with a good knowledge of Microsoft Office
- willingness to undertake duties and first aid training
