Job Description
In this role, you will be based mainly at Springfield Campus, Dewsbury, and will deliver outstanding teaching and learning sessions to a wide range of students, including adults, 16–18-year-olds, and those studying introductory courses. You will work with all department colleagues and associated departments to drive the teaching of students and support towards excellence.
Responsibilities
- Deliver classes and sessions aligned to the course and qualification specifications in an engaging and innovative manner.
- Use industry experience to enrich content and contextualise it to support students’ understanding.
- Collaborate with department colleagues to enhance teaching quality and student support.
Qualifications
- Hold a Level 5+ industry‑related qualification in health and science (or equivalent).
- Have recent and demonstrable experience working in the health and social care sector.
- Communicate effectively, engage with young people, and demonstrate the college values of Kindness, Unity and Excellence.
- Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults.
