An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Postgraduate of Maths to train as an apprentice in our school. This exciting one‑year programme is a work‑based route into teaching that allows you to gain QTS, and an optional self‑funded PGCE, while you work as part of our school team.
Westborough has a strong and stable staffing platform and can develop staff whatever their career stage. You will be joining a successful and well‑established maths team and are warmly welcomed to visit with one of our Senior Leaders or Headteacher. Following the Section 8 Ofsted inspection in June 2022, Westborough continues to be a good school and ‘leaders are ambitious’ for the pupils. There is a real team approach at Westborough, where everyone, no matter what their role in school is, wants the ‘best’ for pupils. Ofsted were very complimentary about the culture of the school, describing it as, ‘welcoming and inclusive.’
