Hours and Weeks per Year: 37 hours / 52 weeks
Salary: £32,938 - £43,445

Job Description
In the role of Joinery Lecturer, you’ll be predominantly based at our Dewsbury centre at Springfield, with occasional travel to our other sites across Huddersfield, and your focus will be on delivering high quality lessons to apprentices and full‑time learners, including school leavers and mature students.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach and develop programmes of study to meet the particular needs of our learners.
- Create a positive classroom environment by engaging learners and challenging behaviour issues positively and with consideration.
- Assist students in developing self‑regulation and confidence as they prepare for their next step.
Qualifications & Experience
- Hold a Level 3 qualification or above in Joinery or a related subject area.
- Demonstrable industry experience.
- Experience in teaching is an advantage.
- Ability to communicate effectively, engage with young people, and demonstrate College values of Kindness, Unity, and Excellence.
