- 16.5 hrs 8.30am – 12.10pm Monday – Friday - To commence from 01.09.2026
- 27.5 hrs 8.30am – 3.20pm Monday – Friday - Immediate Start
Are you interested in joining the St John’s family and playing a part in the future success of our school? We are all really proud of the journey we have made so far successfully transitioning from a 2 form Infant school to a fully functioning primary school. The governors, staff and pupils are therefore seeking to appoint a skilled and enthusiastic ETA to support groups of children and/or children with SEND who may need one-to-one support within school. This term is a temporary post until the end of July 2027, which could get extended depending on the budgetary needs of the school.
Qualifications and Experience
- Caring, patient, thoughtful and willing to demonstrate our school values.
- Friendly and able to form strong relationships with other staff and children.
- Committed to working 1:1 with children to meet their needs on an EHCP’s.
- Work closely with the class teacher and groups of children.
- Support children over break times and lunchtimes (inside and outside) to meet their needs.
- Able to set and achieve high standards and expectations in learning, behaviour and care.
- Able to work in a team and adapt their practice.
- Creative in their approach to children's learning.
- Enthusiastic and dedicated to enabling every child to fulfil their potential.
- Someone who enjoys taking a full part in the wider life of our school.
- Good quality maths and literacy skills to help the children with their learning.
- Have excellent behaviour management skills.
