We are an outstanding special school catering for pupils aged 4 – 19 with learning difficulties and a wide range of complex needs. We provide a broad, balanced, personalised and fully engaging curriculum that enables each child to develop emotionally, socially, physically and intellectually, achieving their full potential through diverse learning opportunities.
Responsibilities
This is a strategic operational role. The successful candidate will act as the gatekeeper of the school day, ensuring that, despite staff absences, students’ education continues without disruption. The position blends logistics, administration, and human resources, requiring the ability to balance morning illness reports with coverage allocation, plan timetable changes, and support the Senior Leadership Team and main school office with ad‑hoc administrative tasks. Occasional work during school holidays or after the end of the day may be required. Advance notice will be given and time can be taken off in lieu with prior arrangement.
