We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated Apprentice to work with an experienced team to develop the skills, knowledge and attributes to become a successful Educational Teaching Assistant.
Contract: 15 months + EPA
Hours: 32.5 hours per week, term time only
Salary: £11.93 per hour for the first year
Location: Leeds Road, Dewsbury WF12 7HP

Responsibilities:
- The successful candidate will work as a Teaching Assistant across school, whose main responsibilities will be in teaching phonics and conducting reading interventions, for which all training will be given.
- There will be a requirement to provide activity support on a lunchtime.
Requirements:
- Educated to GCSE standard (English and Maths grade 4 or above) or equivalent.
- Able to demonstrate an aptitude for the skills taught in the Apprenticeship.
- Works well within a team, is keen to share ideas and happy to take advice from colleagues and specialist staff.
- Caring, friendly and hardworking.
