We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, conscientious, highly motivated and capable cleaner for our school. Kaye's Academy is a warm and welcoming village school that is committed to ensuring that we are a place that offers excellence for the whole child. We are looking for someone to join our team and who will take pride in keeping our school clean. The successful candidate will work closely with the Caretaker and cleaning staff to ensure that pupils, staff, governors and visitors are able to work in a welcoming, clean and safe environment.
Our ideal candidate will be:
- Able to work professionally and ensure that their area of school is cleaned to the highest standards each day
- Responsible for maintaining a healthy and safe building by following service instructions for the use of cleaning chemicals and equipment and reporting any problems or hazards to the caretaker or SLT
- Responsible for signing in and out of the building, reporting any accidents and following health and safety and fire instructions
- Willing to complete training appropriate for the role
- Able to demonstrate a positive example to others and contribute to a good team spirit
You will need to:
- Have practical experience of cleaning a public building
- Be fit and healthy to undertake a physical role
Full training and support will be given to the successful candidate. Access to free health and well-being services including flu vaccination and physiotherapy.
Kaye's Academy is committed to the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment. An enhanced DBS check is required for all successful applicants.
