To commence as soon as possible, Great Heights Academy Trust are looking to appoint a passionate, dynamic individual to the role of Catering Manager. You will provide support to our Catering teams and lead on the effective functioning of catering services ensuring all our young people are provided with a positive, consistent and highly nutritious meal experience.
You will be responsible for leading a team of Kitchen Managers and Assistant Catering Managers and their respective teams to deliver a high standard of catering which complies with all applicable food standards, laws and legislation. The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic, positive, flexible and motivated individual with personal drive. You will be a self-starter, who can work with minimal supervision; proactive, with the ability to see what needs to be done and to prioritise work accordingly. You will have excellent interpersonal skills and communicate effectively with all members of our Trust community.
The role will initially be to manage our two secondary academies (The Mirfield Free Grammar and Colne Valley High School) and one of our primary academies (Marsden Junior School). Once embedded in the role, we will seek your services to audit the provision of catering across the whole Trust.
