Position: Business Support Administrator
Hours: 20 hours per week (Monday – Thursday 8.45am – 12.00pm; Friday 8.15am – 4.15pm), Term Time Only
Location: Elm Street, Skelmanthorpe, Huddersfield, HD8 9DZ
Contract: Temporary until 31/08/2027
Salary: Grade 4: £11,571 - £11,754

Responsibilities and Qualifications:
- Has experience of working in an office environment, preferably in a school setting
- Can work independently or as part of a team and ensure all correspondence and communications are produced to a high standard within the appropriate deadlines
- Is a positive role model for pupils, patient and understanding with strong communication skills
- Can ensure confidentiality and compliance with statutory and non‑statutory requirements
- Can deliver effective and efficient administrative services across school
- Is familiar with attendance procedures in school and is familiar with the Arbor system or similar
- Can support the Head teacher/SBM where required, including receiving visitors and phone calls
- Can maintain student profiles, including addresses, contact details and permissions
- Can, with direction from Senior leaders, ensure key communications and school success stories are shared and celebrated with all staff, students, parents and visitors
