The children, staff and Governors wish to recruit an enthusiastic, highly motivated and capable lunchtime supervisor to play a key role in supporting the children during lunchtime.

Experience of working with children/young people in a school environment is essential for this job, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with pupils and staff members.

The successful candidates will work any of the following hours –

Monday to Friday 11:40am to 12:30pm.

Total hours 4 hours 10 minutes per week.

The role will include –

  • Preparing the dining hall for lunchtime
  • Supporting and monitoring the children whilst they are eating
  • Promoting good manners, healthy eating and good eating habits
  • Promoting and encouraging games and activities in the playground
  • Working as a team with the other staff and liaising with teachers as needed
  • Ensuring appropriate behaviour and dealing with any issues over lunchtime
