Fairfield is a large special school which provides for learners with a diverse range of complex and profound learning difficulties including physical and medical needs from 3-19 years. Fairfield was judged to be a ‘good’ school by OFSTED in June 2022.
Duties:
- Work with Provision leads and senior leaders to identify individual and group intervention priorities.
- With leaders, plan intervention schedules for individual pupils and groups across school.
- Plan intervention activities with clear aims for groups/individuals.
- Collect progress evidence for all pupils.
- With leaders, evaluate the impact of interventions and next steps.
- Interventions will include indoor and outdoor activities on site, offsite educational visits within local communities, delivering home learning for absent pupils.
Experience of working with children/young people in a school environment is essential, and experience of working with pupils who have profound and multiple learning difficulties and/or Autism would be an advantage.
