Warwick Road Primary School is seeking a caring, reliable and enthusiastic Lunchtime Supervisor to join our friendly team. You will play an important role in supporting the wellbeing, safety and happiness of our pupils during the lunchtime period. Although the position is for a short-fixed term, this is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to work in schools to gain work experience and further their career.

Contract details:

  • Part-time, term-time only
  • Fixed term - 2 September 2026 to 1 November 2026
  • Days: Monday – Friday
  • Hours: 11.20 am – 1:05 pm
  • Salary: Grade 3
  • Start date: 2 September 2026

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervising pupils in the playground and indoor areas during lunchtime
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and good manners
  • Supporting children with safe and enjoyable play activities
  • Assisting with minor first aid incidents where required
  • Ensuring the safety and welfare of all pupils at all times
  • Working closely with school staff to maintain a positive lunchtime environment

  • Has good communication and behaviour management skills
  • Is reliable, punctual and organised
  • Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential
