About Fairfield School

Fairfield is a large special school which provides for learners with a diverse range of complex and profound learning difficulties including physical and medical needs from 3-19 years. Fairfield was judged to be a ‘good’ school by OFSTED in June 2022.

Responsibilities

  • Support the learning and welfare of pupils with complex and profound multiple learning difficulties.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide best outcomes for all learners.
  • Participate in CPD and develop skills under the Apprenticeship Levy.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Highly motivated, enthusiastic and skilled educational teaching assistant.
  • Experience working with children/young people in a school environment.
  • Experience working with pupils who have complex or profound and multiple learning difficulties is an advantage.

Additional Information

Opening Closes: Friday 26th August 2026 at 12pm. Interview week: w/c 14/09/26. Start date: Mon 02/11/26. This role requires a DBS check. Convictions may be considered but will not automatically exclude candidates.
