As part of a small, dedicated team, postholders are responsible for:
- Organising panels/meetings – both in‑person and virtual
- creating agendas
- prepping and collating paperwork
- sending invites
- liaising with the Chair and panel members
- taking clear and concise minutes within the panel/meeting
- logging information on our in‑house database, LiquidLogic/Child View
- circulating minutes within timescales once approved by the Chair
- using and creating templates
- prioritising workload accordingly
- responding to enquiries and maintaining the generic Outlook inbox
- general clerical duties
- processing invoices on SAP
- transacting and reconciling petty cash
- Reception duties – meeting, greeting and signposting
Experience in taking minutes to a high standard would be advantageous.
The ability to prioritise workloads and working to deadlines is essential to ensure that the minutes are circulated within timescales.
This role requires a confident individual with strong literacy skills and excellent attention to detail as accuracy is crucial.
This role is predominantly based in the Young Batley Centre in Batley but you may be asked to work across our three office sites which are currently Civic Centre 3 and New Street in Huddersfield and the Young Batley Centre in Batley. There will also be some home‑working involved.
