Kirklees Council are advertising this role on behalf of Killinghall Primary School. This is a temporary position for Teaching Assistants to work in the Primary School department of a well‑resourced ‘good’ school in Bradford. You will start on 1st September 2026 and work 32.5 hours per week during term time. The contract is fixed term for 12 months. The role is band 5 SCP 5 with an annual salary of £19,130 – £19,472 (full‑time equivalent £25,989).

Key Responsibilities

  • Take groups and individuals for learning sessions across the primary age range.
  • Support special needs children, including those with severe and complex difficulties and who may require intimate care.
  • Use your initiative to support classroom teaching and staff.
  • Prepare teaching resources and learning materials.
  • Promote a positive, inclusive environment and work collaboratively with the teaching team.
