Location: Engineering

Hours and Weeks per Year: 37 hours / 52 weeks

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver the personal development programme through tutorial lessons.
  • Cover citizenship, careers guidance, preparation for next steps, skills development, enrichment and health and wellbeing.
  • Support students with work preparation (including placement) and work closely with the work placement officers.
  • Communicate effectively across all areas of the college, build effective working relationships and provide first-class customer service, while demonstrating the college values of Kindness, Unity and Excellence.
  • Safeguard and promote the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience of designing and delivering outstanding sessions with young people, or ability to prove equivalent ability.
  • Ability to differentiate to meet the needs of diverse groups.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults.
