Salary: £32,938 – £40,725

Location: Waterfront, Huddersfield

Hours: 37 hours per week for 52 weeks

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver engaging, interactive lessons covering Health and Social Care from Level 1 to Level 3.
  • Mark student work and ensure quality standards are met.
  • Support the Health and Social Care team in creating opportunities for students and influencing positive change in learners’ lives.
  • May act as Group Tutor, monitoring learner attendance, behaviour, and commitment to their study programme.
  • Assist with driving the ABC policy and promoting personal development for learners.

Qualifications

  • Relevant degree, teaching qualification, or substantial industry experience in health or social care.
  • Prepared to undertake a teaching qualification if not already held.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to engage with young people.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults.
