Hours and Weeks per Year: 18.5 per week / 52 weeks per year

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver a quality learning experience within the Alternative Provision department.
  • Teach a personalised learning programme focusing on personal and social development and deliver English and Maths at Entry Level 3.
  • Work with students with SEND and SEMH needs.
  • Apply a trauma‑informed, restorative and inclusive approach.
  • Support students' behavioural and mental health challenges.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Level 3 or higher skill level (subject area less important than transferable skills).
  • Teaching qualification at Level 5.
  • Mathematics & English at Level 2 or equivalent ability.
  • Demonstrable experience in SEND/SEMH teaching.
  • Knowledge of specific learning difficulties, neurodiversity, mental health needs and behavioural issues.
