Motor Vehicle Lecturer Position: Lecturer in Motor Vehicle (Engineering Centre, Kirklees College)

Salary: £41,574 (520 days)

Hours: 37 hours per week / 52 weeks per year

Summary

Deliver high-quality lessons to apprentices and full-time learners, including school leavers and mature students, and develop programmes of study that meet the needs of our diverse student body.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and teach programmes of study to meet the particular needs of learners.
  • Create a positive classroom environment by engaging learners and managing sessions positively.
  • Help students develop self-regulation and confidence as they prepare for their next step.

Qualifications and Experience

  • At least a Level 3 qualification in Motor Vehicle studies or a related subject (or equivalent).
  • Experience teaching young people.
  • Industry experience in the motor vehicle sector, especially with heavy goods vehicles, hybrid/electric vehicles, MOT testing, or air conditioning, is highly valued.
