We are looking for a Lecturer in Foundation Learning to be based on Waterfront, Huddersfield. The role focuses on delivering bespoke and personalised programmes to students with SEND/SEMH.
Key Responsibilities
- Teaching students with SEND/SEMH
- Monitoring and assessing students in accordance with the programme requirements and contributing to the Quality Improvement Strategy.
- Contributing to curriculum development, design and delivery in response to changing requirements and new demands.
- Maintaining and monitoring college systems.
Qualifications
- PGCE with a specialism in SEND/SEMH, and demonstrable experience in teaching young people with SEND/SEMH.
- Ability to support delivery of functional skills English and Maths is advantageous.
- Effective communication skills and ability to engage with young people with a wide range of learning needs are essential.
