Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Stores Person for a fantastic client based in Castle Donington.

Role Details:

• Permanent role.
• Monday to Friday, 8am – 4:30pm.
• Salary up to £27,000 depending on experience.

Stores Person – The Role:

• Distribute equipment according to load lists.
• Monitor stock levels, reporting shortages.
• Order stock and materials as directed.
• Keep work area tidy.
• Operate forklift to load/unload vehicles and move equipment when necessary.
• Supervise full-time and part-time workers as allocated.
• Ensure all equipment is sent to site in correct containers, stacked and secured properly.
• Process returned equipment, ensuring maintenance and small repairs are carried out.
• Report any damage promptly and issue the correct paperwork.
• Participate in the company\’s annual stock takes.

Candidate Requirements:

• Forklift operator certification.
• Team player with good communication skills.
• Proactive with good numeracy skills.
• Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Good IT skills.
• Full driving license.
• Occasional overtime and weekend work may be required.
