We are looking for a Conveyancing Legal Assistant to support our client's conveyancing team with residential property transactions. You will work closely with solicitors, clients, estate agents, and lenders, helping to keep files moving smoothly and providing excellent client service throughout the process.
Monday-Friday, office based £24-26k
The Role:- Speaking with clients, solicitors, estate agents, and lenders by phone, email, and in person
- Assisting with sales, purchases, and remortgages
- Drafting basic legal documents such as contracts, completion statements, and bills
- Requesting and chasing documents to progress transactions
- Updating files and entering information on the case management system
- Liaising with lenders for redemption statements and mortgage funds
- At least 2 years’ experience in conveyancing
- Good attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Strong IT skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
