Our client is a well-established and highly regarded law firm based in Nottingham. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a Litigation Solicitor to join their litigation team. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded solicitor who enjoys client contact, strategic case management, and being part of a collaborative, high-performing team.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Head of Litigation, you will advise and represent clients across a broad range of litigation matters. You will manage your own caseload, drive matters forward proactively, and deliver clear, commercially focused advice.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise clients on all aspects of litigation matters
- Manage cases efficiently from instruction to resolution
- Draft high-quality legal documentation and correspondence
- Communicate confidently with clients, colleagues and third parties
- Provide regular cost updates and manage client expectations
- Attend and lead client meetings as required
- Accurately record time, manage billing and work towards financial targets
- Contribute positively to the wider litigation team
