We are working on behalf of a highly regarded, multi-office Yorkshire law firm to recruit a Claimant Clinical Negligence Solicitor or Legal Executive to join their growing team. This opportunity arises due to continued organic growth and offers the chance to join an award-winning, specialist clinical negligence team handling a high-quality caseload in a genuinely supportive and collaborative environment.
The Role
- You will manage your own caseload of claimant clinical negligence matters, predominantly multi-track, from initial instruction through to conclusion.
- Caseload size is driven by complexity rather than volume, with most fee earners managing fewer than 40 cases at any one time.
- You will also support colleagues on more complex matters as required, with access to paralegal and secretarial support.
- The firm attracts work largely through recommendation, including both high-value complex claims and more straightforward matters.
- Hybrid working is available, and flexible location arrangements may be considered for experienced candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Running a caseload of claimant clinical negligence matters.
- Managing cases at all stages, from initial instructions to conclusion.
- Advising clients clearly and sensitively throughout the life of a claim.

About You

- APIL accreditation advantageous (or working towards, depending on experience).
