Kirkland Associates are currently recruiting for two Service Engineers to join a well-established business within the heavy equipment sector. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer who enjoys working in a field-based role and diagnosing faults across a variety of machinery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment
  • Diagnose faults across electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems
  • Complete planned preventative maintenance work
  • Conduct equipment inspections and identify potential issues
  • Complete service reports and required documentation
  • Provide excellent customer service when attending client sites

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Plant Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or similar (Essential)
  • Strong experience working with electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems
  • Previous experience working on heavy plant, construction equipment, agricultural machinery, HGVs, forklifts or similar equipment
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • Full UK driving licence & willingness to travel/work away from home
  • Ability to work independently in a field-based role
