Kirkland Associates are currently recruiting for two Service Engineers to join a well-established business within the heavy equipment sector. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer who enjoys working in a field-based role and diagnosing faults across a variety of machinery.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment
- Diagnose faults across electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems
- Complete planned preventative maintenance work
- Conduct equipment inspections and identify potential issues
- Complete service reports and required documentation
- Provide excellent customer service when attending client sites
Requirements
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Plant Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or similar (Essential)
- Strong experience working with electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems
- Previous experience working on heavy plant, construction equipment, agricultural machinery, HGVs, forklifts or similar equipment
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Full UK driving licence & willingness to travel/work away from home
- Ability to work independently in a field-based role
