We’re working with a market-leading manufacturer and looking for an HVAC&R Design Engineer to support and develop their growing product range.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop refrigeration systems and teaching apparatus
- Produce 3D CAD models and engineering drawings
- Perform thermodynamic calculations and system simulations
- Select components: compressors, heat exchangers, expansion devices, refrigerants
- Build and test prototypes, analysing performance and efficiency
- Ensure compliance with PED, CE marking and safety standards
The Candidate
- Strong understanding of refrigeration cycles and thermodynamics
- Experience in HVAC&R or thermofluid system design
- Knowledge of heat transfer and fluid flow
- Hands-on engineering approach with product development experience
