We’re working with a market-leading manufacturer and looking for an HVAC&R Design Engineer to support and develop their growing product range.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop refrigeration systems and teaching apparatus
  • Produce 3D CAD models and engineering drawings
  • Perform thermodynamic calculations and system simulations
  • Select components: compressors, heat exchangers, expansion devices, refrigerants
  • Build and test prototypes, analysing performance and efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with PED, CE marking and safety standards

The Candidate

  • Strong understanding of refrigeration cycles and thermodynamics
  • Experience in HVAC&R or thermofluid system design
  • Knowledge of heat transfer and fluid flow
  • Hands-on engineering approach with product development experience
