Kirkland Associates are working with an innovative electronic manufacturer who are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join their QHSE team. Committed to delivering high-quality, reliable products, you will work closely with the engineering and manufacturing teams to develop and implement quality control processes.
Quality Assurance Engineer - the role
- Develop and maintain quality assurance processes for electronic components and products
- Liaise with other departments to ensure the manufacturing department has the capabilities to produce products compliant with all requirements
- Ensure compliance with industry standards ISO9001:2015 & ISO13485:2016
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)
- Maintain quality documentation, including test reports, inspection records, and compliance certificates
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing principles
Quality Assurance Engineer - the candidate
- Proven experience in Quality Assurance within the manufacturing industry - electronics, automotive, aerospace, medical
- Root cause/problem solving and implementation of corrective actions
- Internal auditing including process and out-of-box auditing
- Good working knowledge of ISO9001:2015
- Working knowledge of ISO13485:2016, AS9100 & TS16949 (desirable)
