We are seeking a Design Engineer with knowledge of the Civil Engineering Industry to join our clients Engineering Department. In this permanent role you'll have the opportunity to apply your expertise in AutoCAD, geotechnical engineering and soil mechanics to work on a variety of civil engineering projects.

Design Engineer - the role:- Produce relevant geotechnical design calculations and drawings
- Engage with consultant engineers, architects, and contractors to discuss and refine designs
- Provide technical expertise and assistance to the sales department
- Deliver detailed presentations for internal and external training purposes
- Possess a BEng or MEng in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering, or a similar qualification
- 5 years of relevant experience in a comparable role
- Good experience using AutoCAD
- An interest in soil mechanics and geotechnical engineering (desirable)
- Chartership or working towards full professional charterships
