We are working on behalf of a valued client, a well-established and respected law firm based in Melton Mowbray, who is seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join their team on a part-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with at least 5 years' PQE to take on a varied and rewarding caseload within a supportive and client-focused environment.
The Role
The successful candidate will handle a broad range of private client matters, including:
- Probate and estate administration
- Drafting wills
- Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPA)
- Trust matters
- Inheritance tax planning
- Advising clients on succession and estate management
You will work closely with clients, providing clear and compassionate legal advice while maintaining the highest standards of service.
The Candidate
Applicants should have:
- A minimum of 5 years' PQE within private client law
- Strong technical knowledge across probate, wills, and LPAs
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
- A professional, empathetic, and organised approach
- The ability to manage a caseload independently
