Our client, who are leaders within their field are offering an exciting opportunity for a CAD Designer to join a close-knit team in Newark.
CAD Designer – The Role
- Compile drawings for client approval from front sheet, specification and information provided from
- Maintain the highest standards of customer relationship and service.
- Ensure standard operating procedures are followed at all times in your area.
- Attend site meetings with clients as and when required.
- Responsible for managing and updating relevant databases.
- Any other task requested by line manager.
- Act as customer liaisons to resolve potential “issues” or problems.
- Provide technical help and information to shop floor and service department (incl. site visits).
- Liaise with design team to resolve production or development problems.
CAD Designer - The Ideal Candidate
- ONC, BTEC or higher in Mechanical Engineering
- Competent in the use of Autodesk AutoCAD 2D
- Competent in the use of Autodesk Inventor including knowledge of coding using iLogic
- MS Office Experience including MS Excel.
