Specialist tour operator, Kirker Holidays, is looking for an organised person to join its busy Administration Team as part of the Contracting, Sales and Marketing Teams. Kirker needs a talented and energetic individual who has excellent attention to detail to ensure that the specialist roles in Contracting, Concierge and Sales are well-supported. This will allow the expert contractors to focus on supplier relationships whilst the contracts are checked, signed and uploaded onto the appropriate booking system which offers the Sales Team visibility quickly and efficiently.
In addition, the Concierge support role should help improve the speed and quality of the Concierge service provided to all clients and travel agents, particularly by booking tickets for museums and galleries in key destinations.
Job Specification:- Requesting hotel contracts and converting to Kirker contract templates.
- Researching potential new destination/hotel product opportunities.
- Updating Kirker website copy and prices.
- Analysis of competitiveness of Kirker hotel proposition, and negotiating with suppliers to ensure best sales opportunities.
- Supporting the Marketing and Sales department with information relating to the Kirker Concierge service e.g. updating excursion documents, checking upcoming schedules and listings, and making bookings for restaurants, concerts and museums as required.
- Attending hotel and client events/presentations.
- Monitoring hotel allocations and stop-sales.
- Assisting with database loading at peak times.
You will be an enthusiastic, hands-on, team player – with excellent attention to detail and a passion for delivering exceptional service. The successful candidate will have experience in the travel or service industry and knowledge of how best to exceed a discerning traveller’s expectations. Good, general knowledge of a wide range of cultural destinations and interests would be an advantage.
