Overview

Kirkbrae Presbyterian Homes is a small sized aged care facility based in Kilsyth with a family-like environment that respects all residents and staff.

We are seeking Food Service Assistants to join our team in the Catering Department. We ensure our staff have the opportunity to complete mandatory training and we will guide and support you when needed. We are offering a generous salary and, as a not-for-profit organization, staff can benefit from salary packaging.

Responsibilities

  • Provide meal services to residents, including kitchen assistance and meal delivery
  • Tray setup and service, clean up and dish washing

Qualifications

  • Experience working in a commercial kitchen
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
  • Compassionate and caring nature
  • Current Police Check or willingness to obtain one
  • Must have received all 3 COVID vaccinations
  • Previous experience in hospitality, particularly within an Aged Care facility, would be desirable
