Kirkbie Kendal School is seeking a Teacher of PE, with a primary focus on girls’ PE. Owing to the requirement to conduct supervision of female students in the changing facilities, there is a genuine occupational requirement for the postholder to be female. This appointment is restricted to female applicants accordingly, in line with Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010.
This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and energetic teacher to join this happy and successful school. The school has a strong record for developing highly effective teachers and leaders. Student progress and examination grades are consistently above national averages.
