37 hours per week term time only plus INSET days plus one week. Permanent. NJC Scale 3 (Points 5-6) £25,583 – 25,989 FTE. Actual salary £22,177 – £22,528.

We are seeking an energetic, friendly person to join our Science department at Kirkbie Kendal School. We are ideally seeking someone already in a technician’s role to join our experienced Science Technician team, but would also consider training someone with science qualifications who has not previously worked as a technician but who is proactive, has excellent attention to detail and is willing to learn new skills in relation to chemicals and the careful handling of them.

The successful candidate will be hardworking, adaptable, well organised and will enjoy being part of a team. They will gain job satisfaction from making a valuable contribution to our vibrant, welcoming school community. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join this happy and successful school.
