Kirbys Solicitors is a dynamic and progressive legal business with an enviable reputation for property work based in the beautiful spa town of Harrogate. We are looking for an experienced Property Solicitor to join our team, acting for good quality clients regionally and nationally.
With a focus on commercial property, both freehold and leasehold work, together with some residential work. We are looking for a capable fee earner with the ability to handle a caseload of commercial sales and purchases, familiar with both freehold and leasehold matters, and some residential property work. Ideally, you will have upwards of 10 yearsβ experience so you will be super-confident of your technical skills on arrival, but someone with 5+ years or more practical experience will be considered on merit. You will be expected to foster relationships locally and will be encouraged to involve yourself in the profile raising activities of the team.
Main Purpose of Role: To undertake fee earning work and provide a profitable contribution to the work of the department and firm.
Reports To: Head of Property Department
The Role: Working as part of the Property Team, you will be expected to act for a wide variety of clients including but not limited to: Investors, Developers, Landlords.
About you: You will be a qualified solicitor with at least 10 years of post-qualification experience of handling both residential and commercial property files. You will be able to demonstrate handling complex and sensitive matters. You will have excellent client-facing skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional service. You will have a proactive, detail-oriented, and professional approach.
