We are recruiting on behalf of our established legal client who are looking to expand their Conveyancing team.
This role involves dealing with all types of residential conveyancing whichincludes; Sales, Purchases, Re-mortgages, Stair-casing, Redeeming help to buy loans, transfer of equity, deed of trust and severance of joint tenancy.
Duties include:
? meeting and interviewing clients to establish the firm\’s suitability to provide the necessary advice and services, based on the firm\’s specialism and likely cost
? taking a client\’s instructions
? advising a client on the law and legal issues relating to their case
? drafting documents, letters and contracts tailored to the client\’s individual needs
? researching and analysing documents and case law to ensure the accuracy of advice and procedure
? coordinating the work of all parties involved
? corresponding with clients and opposing solicitors
? Working in a team
? Supervising and delegating work to trainee solicitors, paralegals and legal secretaries as appropriate
? arranging and attending further client meetings where necessary to progress with the case and finalise documentation
? checking all documentation prior to signing and implementing
? carrying out administrative duties
? keeping up to date with changes and developments in the law by reading journals and law reports.
The ideal candidate will have:
? Good standard of GSCEs
? Good standard of A Levels
? Diplomas LLB (Hons)
? Previous Solicitor experience
? Conveyancing legal experience
? Practical experience of handling client enquiries both by telephone and face to face
? Excellent written and verbal communication
? Able to manage time and work under pressure to tight deadlines
? Able to manage the demands of numerous tasks
? Able to work on own initiative and within a team environment
? Excellent attention to detail to ensure information is accurate and complete
? Ensuring high level client care
? Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality
