For Companies We are recruiting on behalf of our established legal client who are looking to expand their Conveyancing team.
This role involves dealing with all types of residential conveyancing whichincludes; Sales, Purchases, Re-mortgages, Stair-casing, Redeeming help to buy loans, transfer of equity, deed of trust and severance of joint tenancy.
Duties include:
– meeting and interviewing clients to establish the firm\’s suitability to provide the necessary advice and services, based on the firm\’s specialism and likely cost
– taking a client\’s instructions
– advising a client on the law and legal issues relating to their case
– drafting documents, letters and contracts tailored to the client\’s individual needs
– researching and analysing documents and case law to ensure the accuracy of advice and procedure
– coordinating the work of all parties involved
– corresponding with clients and opposing solicitors
– Working in a team
– Supervising and delegating work to trainee solicitors, paralegals and legal secretaries as appropriate
– arranging and attending further client meetings where necessary to progress with the case and finalise documentation
– checking all documentation prior to signing and implementing
– carrying out administrative duties
– keeping up to date with changes and developments in the law by reading journals and law reports.
The ideal candidate will have:
– Good standard of GSCEs
– Good standard of A Levels
– Diplomas LLB (Hons)
– Previous Solicitor experience
– Conveyancing legal experience
– Practical experience of handling client enquiries both by telephone and face to face
– Excellent written and verbal communication
– Able to manage time and work under pressure to tight deadlines
– Able to manage the demands of numerous tasks
– Able to work on own initiative and within a team environment
– Excellent attention to detail to ensure information is accurate and complete
– Ensuring high level client care
– Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality
