Kiplot enables large organisations to turn their strategies into reality .
The project portfolio management market is worth $4 billion and continues to grow rapidly.
Yet many of its leading products are legacy platforms designed more than 30 years ago.
Kiplot is a modern challenger : beautiful, interactive and easy to use, with the enterprise depth and configurability large organisations need, without dependence on technical specialists or armies of consultants.
Strategic Portfolio Management sits at the intersection of strategy, finance, delivery and resourcing.
Kiplot is used by senior leaders in enterprise organisations to decide where to invest, what to prioritise and how to turn plans into execution.
AI is woven through Kiplot’s product architecture and the way we build software.
Rather than bolting a standalone assistant onto a legacy platform, Kiplot embeds intelligence throughout the data and workflows organisations rely on, helping users interrogate information, identify risks, explore options and make better-informed decisions.
Outputs remain explainable, challengeable and under clear human control .
Kiplot is backed by a consortium of angel investors and is profitable .
We remain early in our journey, but our platform is relied upon by some of the world’s largest and best-known financial services organisations.
Joining Kiplot means working closely with global enterprise organisations and gaining first‑hand exposure to how complex organisations operate, make trade-offs and turn strategy into action.
We are looking for exceptional people who are energised by hard problems, high standards and real ownership.
Kiplot is a high‑trust, high‑performance team where people enjoy doing difficult work well.
About the Role
As an Implementation Consultant, you will lead the day‑to‑day delivery of complex enterprise implementations that reshape how customers plan, fund, resource and govern change.
You will have substantial ownership , while working closely with experienced colleagues and Kiplot’s Product and Engineering teams throughout.
Each implementation begins with understanding how a large organisation actually works: how its finance function accounts for investment, how its PMO governs the portfolio, how leaders allocate scarce capacity, how teams deliver change, and how data flows between the systems involved.
You will work with stakeholders to define how they want to operate, translate that into Kiplot, and determine the processes, data and integrations required to make it work in practice.
Working with senior Kiplot colleagues, you will take customers from discovery through design, configuration, integration, rollout and adoption, typically over four to twelve months.
This is not primarily a software configuration role .
It combines process design, programme delivery, technical understanding and senior stakeholder management.
You will lead workshops, reconcile competing requirements and help customers make difficult decisions about how their organisation should operate.
Because Strategic Portfolio Management cuts across finance, strategy, technology, transformation and delivery, the role provides unusually broad exposure to how complex enterprises really function.
You will see how decisions are made, where organisational friction sits, and how changes in one part of the operating model affect the rest.
You will be given meaningful ownership early , without being expected to operate alone.
It suits someone who has built strong consulting foundations and now wants to take greater responsibility for delivering a tangible outcome.
The work ends in a platform that the organisation relies on, not a recommendation deck handed to somebody else to implement.
- A Typical Day
- Leading the day‑to‑day delivery of implementations for enterprise customers, from discovery and design through configuration, integration, rollout and adoption, working closely with senior Kiplot colleagues throughout.
- Running workshops with stakeholders across finance, strategy, technology, transformation and delivery to understand how the organisation plans, funds, resources and governs change.
- Advising customers on best practice while understanding the reality of how their organisation operates, recommending the best way to configure Kiplot so they realise value quickly while meeting their business needs.
- Configuring Kiplot around each customer’s operating model, governance and reporting requirements, without writing code .
- Managing complex stakeholder environments with sound judgement : setting expectations, explaining trade‑offs and separating the requirements that genuinely matter from the noise.
- Distilling complex customer requirements into well‑scoped product requests , ensuring Product and Engineering have the business context, expected outcomes, and supporting detail needed to assess and deliver them.
- Working closely with Product and Engineering to resolve implementation challenges, shape integrations and feed what you learn from customers back into the platform.
- Supporting customers through rollout and early adoption , ensuring that the new processes and platform become embedded in how the organisation operates.
- What Success Looks Like
- After 3 months
- Contributing meaningfully across the full implementation lifecycle and taking day‑to‑day ownership of defined areas of an enterprise implementation.
- Playing an active role in customer workshops and working sessions, supporting facilitation, capturing decisions, and helping drive sessions forward with guidance from more experienced colleagues.
- Developing a strong understanding of Kiplot’s core concepts and how they map to real portfolio, financial, capacity and governance challenges.
- Managing implementation plans, driving progress against agreed actions, and recognising when risks, dependencies or decisions need to be escalated.
- After 6 months
- Leading the day‑to‑day delivery of an enterprise implementation, with regular access to senior Kiplot colleagues rather than being expected to operate alone.
- Managing several customer workstreams or implementations at different stages, balancing competing timelines and stakeholder demands.

- Building trusted relationships with senior customer stakeholders and becoming someone they rely on to move the implementation forward.
- Developing deeper expertise in one or more areas such as portfolio governance, financial planning, capacity management or PMO operating models.
- After 12 months
- Running the day‑to‑day delivery of a portfolio of complex enterprise implementations , drawing on senior support for significant commercial, technical or stakeholder decisions.
- Acting as a trusted adviser to customers on how Kiplot should support their operating model, rather than simply implementing stated requirements.
- Contributing to Kiplot’s implementation methods, templates and best practices as the team and customer base grow.
- Helping newer colleagues develop their understanding of the product, implementation approach and enterprise customer environment.
- Identifying where customers could achieve more with Kiplot and working with them and the wider Kiplot team to make that happen.
