Kip McGrath Professional Tuition Harrogate is seeking part-time practitioners for on-site Teacher/Tutor role(s) in the following areas:
- Primary Teachers
- Secondary English or maths specialists.
The Teacher/Tutor will be responsible for lesson planning and preparation, communication with all stakeholders, monitoring, recording and reporting on the individual students concerned.
Person Specification
- Possess a formal teaching qualification or similar (e.g. Post Graduate Certificate of Education (PGCE), B.Ed, G.T.P, etc.)
- Teaching experience with children aged between 5 years and 16 years in a classroom environment
- Listed on the DBS register or willing to undergo a DBS register check
- Computer skills including use of a range of computer programmes
- Interpersonal skills including active listening, giving empathetic feedback and a clear speaking voice
- Developing curriculum plans in line with key stages
- Ability to read signals that pupils understand/donβt understand the work they are undertaking
- Marking and correcting work handed in by pupils
- Be prompt and possess a good sense of humour.
