We are supporting a multi-disciplinary Design & Build consultancy in Chichester seeking a Mechanical Engineer in Building Services to deliver high-quality mechanical designs across commercial and industrial projects.
This role suits an intermediate to experienced Mechanical Engineer who can take responsibility for technical delivery, attend client meetings, and produce compliant, coordinated designs across all RIBA stages.
- Produce mechanical building services designs including ventilation, heating, cooling, DHW, and public health
- Carry out detailed calculations, heat loss/gain assessments and site surveys
- Ensure projects meet technical, contractual, and programme requirements
- Mechanical engineering/design experience in building services (ideally consultancy or contractor)
- Strong knowledge of UK building services standards and regulations
- Experience delivering mechanical design on projects £1M-£5M+
- ONC/HNC in Mechanical Building Services + CIBSE membership (Preferred)
- Full UK driving licence
