They are now seeking an Electrical Supervisor to join their workshop team in Liverpool. This is a hands-on supervisory role suited to an experienced electrician who can lead a small team, oversee electrical and mechanical assembly work, manage testing standards, and keep workshop activity running safely and efficiently. What The Role Offers £45,000 - £50,000 base salary Enhanced overtime pay Permanent workshop-based role in Liverpool 5 days on site Supervisory role managing a team of around 6 people Opportunity to lead electrical and mechanical assembly processes Training and development support 25 days holiday plus bank holidays Pension scheme, Medicash, employee discounts, referral scheme and on-site parking Responsibilities: Plan, organise and prioritise daily workshop tasks, resources and schedules Supervise Electrical and Mechanical Assemblers to ensure safe and efficient output Oversee electrical and mechanical installations within control containers Ensure electrical testing and certification is completed accurately and in line with BS7671 Support stock takes, material planning and ordering requirements Monitor workmanship, quality standards and process compliance across the workshop Provide regular updates on performance, safety, compliance, quality and team development Coach, guide and support team members to improve capability and productivity Ensure accurate recording of near misses, incidents, accidents and quality issues Maintain a strong health and safety culture across all workshop activity Skills & Experience: Proven experience supervising or managing people within an electrical function ECS Gold Card with Installation Electrician highlighted Strong background working as an electrician in construction, utilities, engineering or similar environments City & Guilds 2391 Test and Inspection 18th Edition Wiring Regulations Strong understanding of electrical health and safety regulations IOSH Managing Safely certificate Able to follow processes, manage work through to completion and guide a team effectively Proactive, organised and comfortable working in a fast-paced workshop environment Full UK driving licence Summary Position: Electrical Supervisor Location: Liverpool Duration: Permanent Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 + Enhanced Overtime + Benefits Hours: 40 hours per week Start: Notice dependent This is a strong opportunity for an experienced electrical supervisor to take ownership of a busy workshop function, lead a practical team, and support high-quality electrical assembly work within a growing engineering business Apply Now
