Our client is a respected engineering group operating across the South of England, providing pump and water treatment solutions to clients in both clean and wastewater environments. As part of their continued growth across the AMP8 cycle, we’re seeking a Framework Manager with extensive water sector expertise to take ownership of a key strategic relationship across the South of the UK. This is a high-impact role covering the Southern region (including Eastleigh, Dartford, and Bracknell areas), with flexibility on base location and hybrid working supported. The role will suit someone who thrives on customer-facing engagement, strategic account development, and project pipeline management – all underpinned by a strong Operational and Commercial mindset applied in the Water Industry.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Act as the Framework lead across the region, building and maintaining trusted relationships with Water Authorities and Tier 1–3 contractors
  • Lead regional strategic engagement and early project involvement to identify opportunities, pre-empt client needs, and offer intelligent, solutions-led proposals
  • Develop and manage a strong forward-looking pipeline of work in line with AMP8 targets and water company priorities
  • Maximise revenue potential by working closely with Regional Account Managers and Solutions teams to identify and convert upcoming projects
  • Be a visible and proactive presence across customer sites, framework meetings, and industry events
  • Ensure accurate internal reporting and forecasting, while upholding the highest standards in safety, ESG and compliance
  • Support delivery teams with risk and method statements, client specifications, and the transition from early planning through to handover
  • Be the voice of the customer internally, ensuring clear communication across all departments to deliver on service expectations
  • Take ownership of commercial framework performance including rebates, KPI/SLA adherence, payment terms, and dispute resolution

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Background in clean and wastewater frameworks – either with a water authority, Tier 1 contractor, or specialist services provider
  • Excellent knowledge of AMP8 objectives, environmental impact, and the wider ESG agenda
  • Proven success in a client-facing role with strong commercial and planning responsibilities
  • Confident working cross-functionally with sales, operations, SHEQ and senior leadership teams
  • Able to build long-term partnerships with clients, not just manage transactions
  • H&S qualification (e.g. SMSTS or equivalent) is required
  • Must hold a full UK driving licence and be happy to travel across the Southern region

Summary:

  • Position: Framework Manager
  • Location: Flexible – South East
  • Travel: Field-based with hybrid working
  • Duration: Permanent
  • Package: £70,000 - £80,000 including Bonus + Company Car + Benefits
  • Start: Notice Dependant
