Commissioning Electrician

A unique opportunity has arisen for a Commissioning Electrician to join a market-leading pump rental solutions company. This role will cover the South West, supporting projects across the South West from the Bristol, Weymouth, or Saltash branches. This position is crucial in ensuring the successful commissioning and functionality testing of electrical pumping systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical installations, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results within safety and project deadlines. Key Duties & Responsibilities * Complete commissioning activities for pump system installations, including level controllers, flow meters, inverters, control valves, generators, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). * Accurately document commissioning procedures, system configurations, and parameters for internal reports and future project reference. * Perform functional testing of pumping systems to ensure proper operation and compliance with manufacturer and company specifications. * Collaborate with other teams to resolve installation issues, providing training where necessary to prevent repeat errors. * Provide comprehensive handovers to customers, including system operation training, documentation, and commissioning packs. * Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical and control system issues to meet customer requirements and project objectives.
