Field-Based – South of England We’re partnering with a well-established Mechanical & Electrical firm based in Hampshire that delivers specialist services across HVAC, facilities, and project-based installations. As they continue to grow their portfolio of work, they’re now seeking an experienced Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineer to join their team. This is a field-based role with flexible working hours and opportunities to develop into commissioning or project management roles over time. You’ll join a business that takes pride in its high standards of service, and where engineers are trusted to work independently, supported by a collaborative back-office and project delivery team. Key Duties & Responsibilities: * Carry out installation and maintenance of HVAC and refrigeration systems across commercial and industrial sites * Diagnose faults, conduct inspections, and deliver effective solutions on-site * Ensure all works are completed in line with safety standards and regulatory compliance * Collaborate with customers and internal teams to ensure high-quality service delivery * Attend the office when required for training, paperwork, or materials collection Skills & Experience Required: * F-Gas Cat 1 certified * NVQ Level 2 or above (or equivalent industry-recognised qualification in HVAC) * Demonstrated experience in a field-based HVAC or refrigeration role * Excellent customer-facing skills and a professional approach on site * Full UK driving licence required (maximum 6 points) If you\’re looking for a supportive team, varied project work, and long-term career growth — this one’s worth exploring!
